1-Phnom Penh – Siem Reap by private taxi

The private taxis through our Angkor Marvel cost US$70-$90 although less reliable and shared taxis can be had for as little as around US$50. The journey time is 4 and 5 hours to be reached your destination. You should not consider traveling after dark as the road can be dangerous with cows, unlit vehicles and large pot-holes presenting risks.

2-Phnom Penh – Siem Reap by bus

The service to use is Mekong Express  and Capitol Bus with modern comfortable coaches taking around 6 hours for a cost of $10-12. The tickets will generally be included in your Angkor Marvel tour but can also be bought around Psar Thmei in Phnom Penh.

3-Phnom Penh – Siem Reap by boat

Many visitors are disappointed by the tourist boat service between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. The boat is often overcrowded, noisy and kicks up alot of spray as it charges along the lake at high speed. This is NOT a sightseeing boat and we recommend traveling by land as a better alternative. However if you wish to travel by boat the cost is around US$25 and the journey time is 5-6 hours.

4-Phnom Penh – Siem Reap by air

This 45 minute flight brings you along the length of Tonle Sap lake and can provide wonderful views on a good day. The service is run by Cambodia Angkor Airways with costs changing according to the season. Guide price is around US$90pp. NOTE: CAA are very strict on booking conditions and you must write exactly the details in your passport or you will have to pay extra to be allowed to board.

1-Siem Reap – Battambang by private taxi

The Private taxi is cost only $ 30 to Battambang and will usually take 2h and 30 minutes in the distance168km. If you are traveling alone should be considering finding others to share with to minimize your cost and some time you make the best traveling friend with your way.

2-Siem Reap – Battambang by bus

Buses are the cheapest option for you, and can be purchased from as little as US$4 in areas common with budget travellers. Otherwise tickets can be bought from independent travel agents, or any specific company office – these are located all over town in Siem Reap. Journey times to Siem Reap should be around 4 hours, and prices will usually reflect comfort and reliability, and range from US$3 – $8.

3-Siem Reap – Battambang by boat

Traveling by boat to Battambang should take 6-9 hours, but is very dependent on season – it may take even longer than this at the height of the dry season. The views are very impressive, great for bird-watchers. The boat leaves at 7am, and is US$15 per person.

1-Phnom Penh – Battambang by private taxi

The Private taxis cost around US$70 to Battambang Province, and will usually take around 4-5 hours in the distance 293km. Travellers alone should consider finding others to share with to minimize costs  and you will get the same way with the friendly of the local people on the way.
